Description

Chromic Gut Sutures CT-1, 27″ (70 cm) are sterile, absorbable surgical sutures composed of purified collagen derived from the serosal layer of beef (bovine) or the submucosal fibrous layer of sheep (ovine) intestines.

These sutures are processed with a chromic salt solution to delay absorption and extend tensile strength retention, making them ideal for procedures requiring medium-term wound support. Packaged in tubing fluid for pliability, they are available in natural or blue-dyed form for enhanced visibility.
